Horitomo is a San Jose, California-based tattoo artist with over twenty years of experience in Japanese traditional work including tebori (Japanese hand tattooing). Kikyo is part of Solid Ink’s Horitomo line. This purple pigment with blueish undertones is inspired by the Kikyo flower and hearkens back to the Japanese Heian Period (794–1192). Dignified and elegant, this color works well when creating kimonos in Japanese traditional tattoos.
